The Process of Making the Front Porch at Old Mill Tasty Shop 4

 Working with sun shade sails

We went to check the sails day and night until we got the right length.

We also went to buy plants which go to the planters.  Considering the location of the porch and the timing of the year, we chose this plant Angelina Stonecrop Sedum which should survive all year long and in extreme heat and direct sunlight. It should turn orange/brown in the fall and may create yellow flowers in the summer.

We added a DIY self watering system to each planter, which should help alleviate the number of times of the watering.

Sun shade sails are up with the help of Farah Construction.  We barely made it in the morning of the launch party!  So happy!

It looks nice as we planned!

Front Porch Project flag was installed, too!  We are ready for the launch party!
