The time has flown by and the exhibit at the Andover Public Library ended a couple of days ago. It felt bittersweet to say goodbye to my installation "A Thread X A Thread" displayed throughout the library's serene atmosphere.
So where will this piece be led to go in the future? I am praying and researching to find the right place to go with this piece and meet people. If you and your institution are interested in exhibiting this work, please send me a message through the contact page of my website. I am greatly happy to talk about it!
It does not need to be as large as this library space. The size is variable as you can see in this page.
This show was featured by The Shout, a Wichita's leading independent newroom which covers arts and culture in Wichita and surrounding areas. It was shared through their weekly news and then on their Facebook and Instagram, written by Emily Christensen, the co-founder and the managing editor of The Shout. Here are some photos from the last days at the Andover Public Library. Of course, again, the scissor lift was a great help! The contrast between the heavy scissor lift and the light thread work was interesting. Thank you so much to the Andover Public Library for this valuable opportunity!
