While staying in Lima, several people recommended that I visit the Amano Museum. This museum features the private collection of Japanese businessman, Mr. Yoshitaro Amano, which contains selected pieces arranged chronologically to illustrate the development of textiles and ceramics throughout Peru's Pre-Columbian cultures.
リマ滞在中、アマノ博物館を訪れました。この博物館は、日本人実業家、天野芳太郎氏の個人コレクションを展示しており、ペルーの先コロンビアン文化におけるテキスタイルまた陶器を発展を時系列に沿って紹介しています。
The museum is quietly located in the quiet area in Miraflores district, and I was soothed by the vivid colors of the koi in the garden at the entrance.博物館はミラフローレス地区の静かな場所に位置しており、入り口の庭の鯉の鮮やかな色に癒されました。
Thankfully, the Japanese language is included for all of the exhibition explanations in addition to Spanish and English. I don't think this is very common outside of Japan.
感謝なことに、展示の説明文がスペイン語と英語に加え、日本語でも提供されていました。これは日本以外ではそれほど一般的ではないと思います。
In the Barranco district, also known as the Art District, I was able to visit shops selling excellent selections of handmade crafts and furniture. The numerous works on display showed the influence of various cultures throughout the history of Andean civilization. It is truly remarkable how the art of countries with a long cultural history continues to influence and be passed down to the present day. I enjoyed seeing the wide variety of works, including those made using local Peruvian products and traditional techniques.
またアートディストリクトと呼ばれるバランコ地区では良いセレクションがされているハンドメイドのクラフトや家具のお店に行くことができました。飾られている作品の数々には、アンデス文明の歴史の中での様々な文化の影響が見られました。やはり文化の歴史が長い国のアートは、現在にも影響を与え、受け継がれていて面白いです。ペルーの地方の特産物や伝統技術を活かして作られたものなど、多岐に渡り、見ていて本当に楽しかったです。
It was just before Peru's Independence Day, so the city was decorated with national flags, or rather, covered in them!
ペルーの独立記念日の直前だったので、街は国旗で飾られ、というか、包まれていました！
Kennedy Park, known as Cats' Park, is also crowded with people dancing for a celebration. It felt heartwarming to see people enjoying themselves and celebrating the country's important day!
猫の公園と言われるケネディーパークもお祝いで踊る人でいっぱい。皆さん楽しんで国の大切な日をお祝いしているのを見ることができて、こちらも嬉しくなりました。
The Independence Day parade on July 28 was held not far from where I stayed, but due to traffic restrictions and large crowds, I watched it on TV. Felices Fiestas Patrias!
7月28日の独立記念日のパレードは近くで行われていたみたいですけど、交通規制があったり、人が多そうなので、テレビで観ました。独立記念日おめでとうございます!
