I was so overwhelmed by the support and love of the people who came to the opening reception for my show "Origami Cranes in Blue" on Final Friday last week! When I am thanked by people as they say they were encouraged by seeing my work, I feel so humbled and so happy!
For those of you who may not have noticed that the piece had sound effect, here is a little video clip. When it's quiet, you should be able to hear the sound of an ocean and cranes crying. If not, there must be something wrong with the audio setting. Please ask the gallery people about it.
I was also given an opportunity to talk about the work at Art for Lunch artist talk event this week. I really appreciated the many meaningful questions and comments from the audience. Actually, it was my fourth art-related public speaking event this year. I am glad I didn't faint at any of them!
