Friends University Professor, Daniel Racer's "Pieces of Threads," the orchestra version based on his trio for oboe, viola, and double bass, "Sojourning Threads" was premiered on April 5th. I am so thankful and humbled that my art work became an inspiration for a classical music piece. The images of my four installations were shown with the video projection. I also did a little artist talk on my work and art and music collaboration. I want to thank each member of Friends University Sinfonietta Orchestra, for performing the piece. The recital was beautiful. It became a very special once-in-a-lifetime moment for me.
My installation piece "A Thread X (Meets) A Thread" was installed right outside of the auditorium and more pieces of threads were added by the audience and the chamber orchestra members after the recital.
